Major General, USAF (Ret.) | Author | Speaker | Leader / Educator | Aviator
John L. Barry served more than thirty years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Major General after commanding fighter organizations in combat and serving in senior strategic leadership positions. His career has included service as a public-school superintendent, nonprofit chief executive, museum president/CEO, aviation instructor, and national board leader. Today, he writes and speaks on leadership, history, innovation, and the enduring principles that strengthen organizations and democratic institutions.
